Step 1: Determine your needs
Before looking for a factory, think clearly about what kind of bucket hat you want to customize.
Hat style: wide brim? short brim? cuffs?
Material: pure cotton, polyester cotton, denim, nylon, etc.
Color: black, red, yellow, khaki
Logo design: embroidery, printing, or cloth label?
Quantity: how many samples? how many mass production?
Step 2: Proofing
This is the most critical step in customization. Proofing means making one or several sample hats first, so that you can confirm the effect.
You can:
See the quality of the actual product
Confirm the fabric and color
Check whether the logo position is satisfactory
Adjust the size or details

Step 3: Confirm the order and quotation
After the sample is confirmed, you can officially place an order. At this time, you need to:
Confirm the final quantity
Confirm the delivery time
Sign a contract or place a purchase order
Pay a deposit (usually 30%-50%)
Step 4: Production
After entering the mass production stage, the factory will start to arrange:
Material procurement
Cutting and sewing
Logo processing
Ironing, quality inspection, packaging
Step 5: Shipping and logistics
After production is completed, the factory will:
Take photos or videos to confirm the goods
Arrange shipment (support sea, air, express)
Provide waybill number and delivery time
